Bernard’s Summer School 2020 is cancelled
Dear friends, potential BSS2020 participants,
we carefully monitor the progress of COVID-19 in the Czech Republic and on the European continent for some time already. In mid-March, we assumed that within five months (if not earlier) the situation in the world and especially in Europe would improve and we would prepare our summer school according to the original plan. However, our uncertainty increases. Travelling, where possible, it involves restrictions (quarantine, the need for tests for relatively high fees, etc. .). Bernard’s Summer School is an international school dependent on foreign participants and on foreign tutors. Therefore, we decided not to hold Bernard’s Summer School, nor to run any smaller version, in 2020.
We believe that the year 2021 will be more kind and that we will be able to have our celebrations and summer school then.
