How will be BSS 2018?

YES! Bernard’s Summer School 2018 will be held! In the past weeks we were very unsure as there was only a small number of registration sent in comparison to the previous years but you, who have already proceeded your registrations by the deadline of the 1.6.2018, you have convinced us that there is still demand for this summer event. However, after the mentioned registration deadline we had to reduce the amount of offered classes dow to 12 as the rest we would not be able to cover financially. Regular participants already know that Bernard’s Summer School is not funded by any grants, nor is sponsored financially and all expanses are covered by participants fees. We apologise for disappointing those who’s chosen classes had to be cancelled however this was completely out of our hands.
We sadly announce that the following classes had to be cancelled for this year summer school due to the low interest.

– American country dances with David Dvořák
– Classical flute with Radvan Markus
– Bodhrán with Ladislav Veselý

For those affected by this cancellation we offer to take part in any of the remained classes instead. If you do not choose any, we will return you your payment for cancelled classes immediately.

Currently we are working on timetable based on the up-to-date registrations and we will publish it as soon as we have it. Although we try to accommodate your wishes/selection of classes as much as possible, it may happen that we will not fulfil your preferences 100%. We apologise in advance and thanking you for your understanding.

Finally, we would like to highlight, that it is still possible to register to those remained classes until the beginning of the BSS.
